Located in the former Hamilton Jewelry store, Yiro Gyro shines as bright as any jewel. When I’m downtown around lunch time, a stop here is always a must. The best falafel in St Louis can be found here and I love that this is a family owned business. All ingredients are fresh and come together in an authentic recipe. I cannot force myself to try the other dishes because I enjoy the falafel so much. However, my friends have reported that the classic gyro, Doner Kebab, Ana’s Salad and other choices are splendid. Lunch only in a relaxed and friendly place across from the Old Post Office.

Great place with friendly staff. Orders are easy and you can make additions. The doner kebab is just like I remember from my time in Germany, so good.

I'm from Boston and I've been looking for a good doner there for a long time, but none of them were good. But this was one of the best doners I've ever had, and the people who worked there were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely go back to this restaurant again before the end of my trip

Absolutely amazing food! Best gyros in the city. Very clean restaurant. I highly recommend eating here. The gyro fries are delicious. Fries are cooked perfect. Gyro meat has flavor and is super tender.

I stumbled upon this restaurant, by a nearby Google maps search for lunch and am so glad I chose Gyro Express. The lovely lady that took my order and prepared it could light up any room with her kind eyes and smile. And then one is cashed out with the most gracious cashier. Not to mention, the food (I ordered a classic lamb gyro and side of falafels) was BANGING!!

Stopped in as we were driving through town, and it was fantastic. Family run, homemade everything. Service was great, they were really kind and attentive to our family. Food was excellent, loved the gyro and falafel.
